“We are lucky to be born in wine region we love ... or was that we were born here that made us fall in love ?!” After working with some of the best wines of the Dão region, oenologist Lúcia Freitas returned to her family estate to create a project that harmonizes the respect for tradition with the dream of deepening the extraordinary character of the wines and the region she knows so well.
The Quinta da Mariposa vineyards operate under an integrated protection system, reducing or minimizing risks to human health and the environment, favoring the development of healthy crops with the least possible disturbance of agricultural and forestry ecosystems and encouraging natural mechanisms of struggle against the enemies of cultures
